Nonmotorized Transportation Working Group

The NMTWG advocates the creation and funding a safe, direct network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities through the region. State and local government representatives, bicycle, greenway and pedestrian organizations and advocates come together to coordinate their work through this group. The group reviews bicycle and pedestrian plans, programs and policies to advise WILMAPCO staff, committees, and Council.     Staff will present the current status of Wilmington’s Safe Streets for All Action Plan development
  3. Speed Analysis for Walkable Community Workshop Program Leonard Bonarek, WILMAPCO
    Staff will present new methodology for looking at speeding.
  4. Sidewalk Gap Analysis for Cecil County, Maryland and New Castle County, DelawareHeather Dunigan, WILMAPCO
    The NMTWG will discuss the project to identify and prioritize sidewalk gaps including initial analysis, current outreach, and next steps. https://wilmapco.org/sidewalk.
