Nonmotorized Transportation Working Group

The NMTWG advocates the creation and funding a safe, direct network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities through the region. State and local government representatives, bicycle, greenway and pedestrian organizations and advocates come together to coordinate their work through this group. The group reviews bicycle and pedestrian plans, programs and policies to advise WILMAPCO staff, committees, and Council. Review of DelDOT’s proposed use of Federal funds in FY 2027 including TAP and the Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Program.

4. Draft FY 2027 Bicycle and Pedestrian Funding Pool Submission for New Castle County—Leonard Bonarek, WILMAPCO

The NMTWG will discuss suggestions for submission to DelDOT.

 5. To Recommend Amending the Project Prioritization Processes for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). — Bill Swiatek, WILMAPCO
