The Southbridge Transportation Action Plan (www.wilmapco.org/Southbridge) found truck volumes were the biggest transportation concern of residents. The Southbridge Truck Bypass Study (STBS) will build off this work by exploring short and long term solutions to reduce truck trips in Southbridge and improve Wilmington’s freight efficiency. The study began in May 2025 and will conclude by the summer of 2026. To review the full project scope of work, click here.
